History: JLS CHINA (wholly owned subsidiaries of Jaykal USA) was founded in 2008, to supply innovative LED lighting products to municipal and federal entities in developing North American, Asian and Middle Eastern nations.

1.What are LEDs and how do they work?
LEDs or Light Emitting Diodes are a form of semi-conductor. They do not have the gas filled chambers or lighting filaments associated with conventional lamp types. JLS LEDs present many advantages over conventional light sources including lower energy consumption, longer lifetime, improved robustness, smaller size, faster switching and greater durability and reliability.

5.Are JLS LEDs really environmentally friendly?
A single kilowatt-hour of electricity will generate 1.34 pounds (610 gm) of CO2 emissions. Assuming the average light bulb is on for 10 hours a day, a single 50-watt halogen lamp will generate 250 pounds (114 kg) of CO2 every year. The 8 watt JLS Eagle will only be responsible for 40 pounds (18 kg) of CO2 over the same time span.
